An Interesting Resource

Those of you who have been doing serious research may have run into the same problem that I did. Although my college French was passable, it did not prepare me for reading historical and archeological articles in French. My trusty French-English dictionary was sadly lacking in the technical terms that I most needed help with. Enter The Dictionary Catalogue and the French & Spanish Book Company. Many of the dictionaries specialize in specific areas such as history, geography, archeology, etymology, heraldry and hieroglyphics. French, Russian, Spanish, Breton, Catalan, Basque, Arab, and Lithuanian (just to name a few) dictionaries are listed, often differentiating between modern, ancient, and even specific dialects.
