Carved Drinking Horn

Here's a horn that I carved in 1996. It has celtic knotwork with silver leaf and silver wire wrapping, with a silver-leafed claw carved in the tip that holds the "mystical blue glass orb" (marble). Anyway, I wanted to do something that was more along the lines of fantasy, and this is what I came up with. I sold it on e-bay in 1999, but it was a fun project and served well all that used it. Horn is a really cool medium; it's like the plastic of the ancients.
